禁食-零食
在美国的小朋友要禁食,但是如果想给他们吃一些SNACK,可以参考如下信息,是我以前写给一个妈妈的信。其中最后一点内容,对国内的家长选择零食也有参考价值。
There are lots of snack bar you can buy from local natural food market and the taste is pretty well. My son loves them. Also remember to check the sugar level. The following is only 7g sugar and it's sweet since there's honey inside(honey makes the snack bar sweet, however honey only has single-saccharides, not polysaccharides, so is SCD legal sugar).

if she's not allergic to corn, then following are all great for breakfast! I also give my son a little bit of the rice cereal :

I am a little bit afraid of corn because he had allergy 2 years before (from the lab test). For the afternoon snack in school (now he has two afternoon in school. He comes back home at noon.), following maybe good enough for your daughter:

Another one:

This one although it has corn, but we gave my son phenol enzyme (just 1/6 capsule) after that, he's fine. Because that enzyme digest the sugar for him, otherwise he will be not as good as he is. (for example, eating watermelon without phenol assist, he will have tantrum or showing stubborn within 1 hour. After I tried phenol assist, he will be fine. Many tests I tried, :-) So I will step to step to try the corn meal for him. If he's fine, then maybe I will not worry about corn any more.
Also there are some other brands, like "enjoylife", "nature path", Glutano", "Erewhon" etc... are good. And my criteria to pick those gluten free food are:
(1) casine free;
(2) sugar in lower level;
(3) avoid his possible allergic food;
(4) organic is better;
(5) no artificial flavor or artificial stuff inside;
(6) no preservative(防腐剂);
Hope this is helpful for you. Also you can search "Nature food" in your area to see which store normally sell these. I know "Natural food market", "Wholefood", Shaws etc.. all have these kinds of food to sell.
