re:Ean's General sensor...
Ean's General sensory profile
Movement sensory: under responsive, need swing high, like to be tickle, like to be squeezed, like to be wrapped in blanket, bounced heavily in the blanket
he responded better, became more alert, expressive and attended us facially when the space is smaller, like in a highchair, in bed………….
Ean can NOT read my facial expressions yet, he would not notice if I am sad or mad, only if I had risen up my voice than he would know I am mad.
Visual sensory: he is very visually distracted, harder time organized himself when the boundaries are larger, the areas are bigger and the surrounding is too much.
Function: Ean is very interest in how things go together and how they work, he wouldn't quit work on open a door, open a container, and open a tube by turning. He is very into function, cause and effect play. Love to push buttons that does something, such as elevator buttons, door Buttons, all these play lead to very good fine motor skills.
Pictures: Ean love to look at animal pictures in a book and have us read to him, but seems Lack of interest in stuffed animals, real dog, he smiles at his teacher’s picture while I Present to him and do a "more" gesture immediately, somewhat he already know it represent real Objects.
Puzzles: Ean is a visual learner
One of the favorite plays is puzzles, he can do 3-4 year old puzzles, shape and color puzzle seems very easy to him. He loves container type of puzzle better than board type of puzzle.
Auditory: he loves music. Ean smile direct to parents while we sing the song he likes
He plays around the CD player while music is on and do some action with the words once been taught.
Motor Planning:
He can remove socks, shoes, pants, clothes,
He can put on socks, shoes, pants and clothes with some help. He can zip up and down.
He can do the forward flip on floor,
He can jump with both feet up continuously
Strong side of Ean: self care, gross motor, fine motor, mood regulation, learning ability, compliance, good health
Weak side of Ean: social, Language, eye contact, response to name, repetive play, function play only
