刚看到一段说明B6问题的.贴过来,以免以后不容易找到.
B6 can cause extra troubles for people with a CBS mutation (something Amy Yasko
looks at and many DANs dismiss).
Other signs to look for...
Ammonia smell in the urine (accompanied by brain fog sometimes)
High taurine on tests
Low molybdemum on an esential elements test
Cumulative reaction to too many sulphur supplements (not noticeable at first in
some cases)
Ways to keep it in check:
Low(ish) protein diet (hard to do if you happen to follow SCD
No supplements containing high B6
Limit sulphur supplements (including GSH, epsom salts, DMSA, and others)
B6 in pyridoxine form needs to be converted to P5P to be utilized by the body. There might be
some 'block' there for your child at this time; either an inability to convert
or something missing that affects that conversion.Pyridoxine made him hyper, agitated, irritable and just 'off'
B6 is hard on the PST pathway as well, perhaps your kid does have trouble
processing phenols and such? Try epsom salt baths and give magnesium with the B6
to balance it out. Studies have shown kids need twice as much magnesium as B6. I
give my son the same Kirkman B6 50mg and 100 mg magnesium glycinate. Works well.
Liver Phase I does not work. Probable Mitochondrial issues. All B vitamins processed in phase I liver. It cannot move to Phase II and causing excessive stimming. You want to try something amazing, try Glutathione. Oral Glutathione is poorly absorbed and may not work because it has to be in Liposomal form. IV Glutathione should be good. it make my boy More calm, less aggressive, compliant, focused, hardly any stimming. A person who has trouble processing B vitamins may likely have mitochondrial dysfunction
the Bs are to do with the citric acid cycle in the body, i know myself and my on have mega huge difficulties with the B group, we are using readisorb l glutathione, and absolutely fantastic stuff, the change, especially in my son is huge. we use it in the mornings 1/2 hour before breakfast, but also in conjunction of b12 injections for me, and mb12 spray for my son, and at night just before bed me 1500mg glutamine and my son 500mg. since starting this combination mega mega results.
b12 whether it neo or the mb12 is used to help with the detox. the difference is that the neo b12 needs the liver to metabolise it into the form the mb12 is. so you can bypass the liver metabolism of the hydroxy b12 (neo) and use mb12. i am on the neo but my son is on mb12. i need to move more toxin than him, and have been told by my specialist that the hydorxy is better for that as during the metabolism it also helps the liver function |
