Nice to talk to most of you today. As I mentioned before I'm NOT endorsing any

treatment, but I think you should know

beside dietary, vitamin supplement, of course the most important - behaviour

intervention, there is another alternative

option out there: homeopathy. It is absolutely up to your choice.



Being as a parents of an autistic kid, in the beginning we have a lot of doubts

and questions about "what is homeopathy?

Am I doing more harm than providing help for my kid? Is there any side effect of

taking the remedy? can I afford the

treatment? What if the treatment does not work?...." Any question you can think

of, I'm sure we've been there before.



I went through couple of websites and talked to to one of my good friend, a

Naturpathy doctor, we decided to give a try

because I know if I don't try it I will be regret.



We went through:

1. She observe Jacob's behaviour

2. We had a very length initial interview - about my pregnacy (emotional &

physicals), his behaviour (running, jumping,

sleeping..), his craving (obsession) food/drink/interests, sleeping position,

body sweating area.... A lot of questions.

3. She did the analysis and provided me the remedy to apply

4. I give the remedy to Jacob - a very tiny pills dilute with 1/2 cup of water.

I gave him a teaspoon every time (twice

a day) (dosage and concentration will be varied depends on the outcome of the

follow up session)

5. We monitor the progress - what types of sympton went good, status-quo or bad.



One more thing: we did a hair analysis for Jacob - cut some of his new grown

hair and sent to Lab to check his toxic

level. We heard some of the autistic kids have very high mercury level.

Surprisingly, his mercury level is OK but

alumimum level is tremendously high (acceptable level 0-10, he got 21.5),

calcium and magnesium is very low. Magnesium

will help to flush out the heavy metal mineral like Alumimum.Therefore beside

the remedy, we also have Calcium and

Magnesium supplement for Jacob.



We started the treatment in the end of Dec, we started to see minor improvement

about 3-4 weeks. Within 3 months: He is

getting more (surfacing) passionate, aware of the environment, including us and

peers, verbal and socializing. I did not

tell the teachers about the remedy because I don't want them to have any bias of

observation. They told me his

"surprise" actions like hugging the other kids at the Daycare; very involving in

an imaginery play game.. The most

amazing part is his improvement of bowel movement, from 3-4 days to daily BM. I

know he is still have a long way to go

(become like normal) but at least it is a good start and HOPE for us.



However, I strongly suggested - DON'T think homeopathy is the only way. I

believed the remedy (homeopathy) is making him

healthier (i.e.BM) and open up his mind to accept new things e.g. concepts and

varieties which help him learn better and

focus. While he is opening up his eager to learn, behaviour intervention is very

important to let him to catch up. Don't

give up what you are doing with your child. I believed he (your child) knows how

much you love and care about him. The

hard work will payoff. When Jacob came to you and say "I love you!" (without

prompt), it was the sweetest moment of my

life.



If you type homeopathy for searching, there are a lot of sites out there.

Beware, some of the advertising one, they look
