We lived in Houston/Sugarland, Texas 7 years ago. Honghong  was screened by a lady from the county when he was almost 3, that did not take long, about half of hour. She said he was not autistic. But she did refer Honghong to school district. School district will take over when kids are 3 years old. Then the school evaluated Honghong. And asked us to come second time for evaluation, had me to translate for Honghong  to make sure he did not talk or response to Chinese neither. They said Honghong was autistic. They used CARS. Honghong only got Speech Therapy twice/week, and half hour/each time. So if you get service and how much service you get depends on the evaluation.

记得看过低年级的老师教writing,不会的孩子就是先画下来,再写.你女儿没准将来是很好的Illustator.从她感兴趣的动物扩展,去动物园,看cartoon,玩computer game,都和动物有关,而且都是拟人化的.
鸿鸿就特喜欢动物,每到一城市,动物园是必去的.自从看了"A night at Musuem", 就一定要去New York的自然博物馆.在DC时,看到地图上有个大象的图像(自然博物馆)也要求去.在Houston,我就不再提自然博物馆,一个月内去两个对我是太多了.

Thanks. Honghong already 10. We are living in Shanghai right now. But We visit US in summer, and we are still Texas resident. Just need get repared if we need move back.

我也不认为GFGC能治好ZB，但治好了她儿子的拉肚子。我看到的多是便秘的ZB小孩,鸿也是便秘，所以当时GFGC只坚持了2-3个月.

妞妞妈好像要搬家？搬到老公那里去？那你就多了个帮手了。卖房子，我们的经验是搬空了好卖，买房者可以充分想象他的家具怎么放。看房的也不用和你们预约何时看房。我的一个朋友要卖掉Sugarland房子，买家非要和他杀价到20万以下，好拿政府补贴。
我们以后去Houston的机会很少了，如果火箭队这次能打到最后争冠军，我们还能赶去看一场，现在不可能了。以后回美国也是在西海岸的可能性大。
