This question came up a few months ago when we had a client with
Autism from
Mercury. I researched it extensively and also contacted Dr. Philip
James
who is the foremost authority in the world on HBOT and Neurological
conditions. There is absolutely no reason to fear Mercury and HBOT
as a
combination.
this is factually incorrect as demonstrated by many mercury toxic
individuals who got a LOT worse on HBOT.
I guess this falls under the umbrella of the difference between
"clinical experience" that licensed people have, and the "talks among
friends about mutual health concerns" that us unblessed people have.
We listen to what the people say, good or bad.
We have treated several cases of Autism using HBOT with
Oxy-Sound Harmonics which is a combination that was developed at our
center
and every case showed excellent, in some cases Amazing, results.
I do not doubt that SOME people have amazing results. I doubt they
are the ones where the underlying problem is mercury.
Part of
these cases were attributed to Mercury. We have only had one Autism
client
who was age 13 that we saw very minimal results from. An Autistic
person is
definitely
not
a candidate for HBOT.
unless there is some other clear indication for it.
Any reason to believe that there is a brain injury (which can be
closed head and not show up on MRI) is an indication. E. g. vacuum
delivery, closed head injury followed by neurological signs even if
they resolved, abnormalities that are not bilaterally symmetric either
in neurological signs or on any imaging study.
I am going to enclose 3 letters below
(with their permission).
These letters are not on point. They do not address the vastly
increased oxidative stress that occurs when the oxidation catalyst
mercury is provided with 15 times as much oxygen as it normally gets.
Much of the toxicity of mercury is due to its role as an oxidation
catalyst.
