Some fermented foods are good when they are natural and produce their own bacteria and enzymes. Foods such as kefir, and fermented veggies are often beneficial. Soy sauce and vinegar do not have the same benefit.

I have a question. Sometimes I saw fermented foods are not good for ASD kids because of yeast, sometimes they said it's as good as the probiotics (kefir food), etc... So I am really confused. In Chinese diet, normally we use soy sauce and vinegar, I am not sure whether we shall use them?
